The design solution assumes the presence of mounting platforms, between which understatements are made, which regulate the drainage gap.
The hardening technology is performed by cementing and hardening to a depth of 1.2 to 1.8 mm or general hardening of alloy steels, while the slats become brittle and unable to withstand high loads.

The above solutions and technologies have a number of disadvantages:

Low wear resistance to abrasive wear leads to a short service life, during which there is wear, which leads to an increase in the drainage gap, as well as the gap between the ridge of the screw and the gap bar.
Inaccurate geometry requires a complex assembly with certain skills, while not providing support on both sides, the angle of installation gives a high "Christmas tree".

Limited drainage area. The presence of installation sites, the area of which is about 20%, creates "dead zones", which reduces the oil outflow. To compensate for the total cross-section, it is necessary to increase the drainage gap.

Increasing the gaps leads to a decrease in pressure in the press chamber and an increase in the percentage of talus. As a result, the productivity and efficiency of extraction decreases, which requires replacement of the cage bars. Stopping equipment to replace them entails the overall simplicity of the whole complex, in addition, the oil, which contains a high percentage of talus, requires additional filtration costs.

    Surfacing of the working edge with a height of 4-5 mm leads to the preservation of a constant drainage gap between the slats, which provides a stable pressure in the gap chamber and a small amount of talus.

    THICKNESS OF BARS
    The increased rigidity of the bar allowed to make it less thick, which increases the number of drainage channels by 20%. This in turn increases the total cross-section for oil outflow by 20%.

    DRAINAGE WASHERS
    The improved design of a lath due to introduction of drainage washers of various thickness simplifies assembly process, unifies zeerny laths. Also, due to the exclusion of "dead zones", the cross-section of the drainage channel increased by 20%.

    SIMPLICITY OF ASSEMBLY
    The accuracy of the manufacture of slats corresponding to the diameter of the press chamber, allows for rapid assembly, which achieves the correct support of both edges of the bar on the supports of the chamber, forming the same "tree" height of 0.5-0.8 mm.
