The roaster is intended for processing of seeds of oil-bearing crops. Processing is carried out before pressing for the most effective extraction of oil.

Processing of the original product in the roaster includes the following basic operations:
  • heating of mint in vats by means of heat transfer from steam chambers;
  • stirring the processed mint in the process of heating in the vats with knives stirrer;
  • sequential movement of the crumb with the stirrer blades through the bypass mechanisms of the bottoms from the upper vats to the lower, where the heating of the treated medium during its mixing;
  • moisturizing, if necessary, mint in the first tub by applying "hot" steam;
  • removal of excess moisture from the vats through aspiration.

The roaster is a vertical column consisting of several vats, which are located vertically above each other. Each vat consists of a shell and a bottom, which have steam chambers for heating. The steam circulates continuously inside the system, giving off its heat to the vats and thus carrying out the heat treatment. To ensure that the level of raw materials in all vats is the same, the roaster for the oil shop has a system of control valves. There is an automatic system for monitoring the parameters of the devices, which regulates the temperature of the raw material at the outlet, but you can also perform manual control. Each vat is equipped with a stirrer mounted on a vertical shaft. The gear motor drives the shaft.

Structural low-alloy steel of the 09G2S brand which has high properties of wear resistance and maintains influence of temperature modes from -70 to + 4250C in the conditions of long-term loadings is used for production of roasters.

The roaster shaft is made of packing of 3 groups, hardness of 270 HB, steel 40X.

In the manufacture of the roaster used thickened metal b = 12 ... 16mm, which provides the required working pressure of steam and ensures the durability of the structure. The aspiration pipe is made of stainless steel to ensure corrosion resistance of this unit.

The brazier structurally provides for the regulation of the level of goods through the use of pneumatic valves. The arrangement of the overflow valves allows you to make the most of the bottom area. There is also a supply of hot steam in the upper and lower vats, which provides uniform steam humidification of the mint.

Intermediate bearing assemblies are equipped with an external lubrication system. The unloading device located in the bottom of the lower vat allows to provide uniform unloading.

The design of the roaster allows the location of the drive in the upper or lower position. The location of the aspiration pipe, the discharge pipe, as well as the fittings for the removal and supply of steam can be agreed at the stage of registration of the technical task.

To avoid malfunctions of the unit, the brazier is always installed in closed, isolated from external influences premises. Gaseous products that are released during the operation of the installation are discharged through special aspiration pipes. Each section is equipped with its own pipe, but they all merge into a single air duct at the outlet.
